Gerald E. Kelly
Gerald E. Kelly serves as the President of Gerald Kelly Capital Corp. He grew up in Southern California and is a graduate of Pomona College (B.A.), Syracuse University's Maxwell School (M.P.A.), and the University at Buffalo (M.B.A.). His early career was spent with government and community agencies: pioneer member of the U.S. Dept of HUD, pioneer member of the N.Y.S. Urban Development Corp., and executive director of the Greater Buffalo Development Foundation. In 1983 he started his own real estate business, which is now Gerald Kelly Capital Corp. In 2006 he was invited to join Coldwell Banker Commercial Meridian as a commercial real estate broker and now holds a dual real estate license.
Jerry's background includes 20 years of private real estate investment and financing experience. He has been involved in all types of commercial real estate financings including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hotel, and specialty property types. He is an investor in over 1000 multifamily units. He is committed to providing good service and competitive financing alternatives. Jerry remains active in the Buffalo community. He is a past president of the local chapter, New York Association of Commercial Realtors, Rotary Club of Buffalo, Rotary Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo. He currently serves as a trustee of the Center for Governmental Research, and as a board member of the Mayor's Citizens Planning Council, Buffalo Water Board, Westminster Economic Development Initiative, MicroBiz Buffalo, and Framework for Regional Growth.
